Underneath the metatarsal bone oby the little toe lies the flexor digiti minimi, which resembles one of the interossei. Comeing from the base of the fifth metatarsal bone, and from the sheath of the fibularis longus; its tendon is insrted into the lateral side of the base of the fifth toe and the first phalanx.
